ALL ACCESS KARAOKE, a reality show based on a national singing competition that starts online and culminates on television, will begin airing Oct. 4 on San Diego 6 The CW. Contestants are competing for their chance to headline their own concert and star in the ALL ACCESS KARAOKE TV Show. Performers enter the competition by auditioning online through the “virtual recording studio” found at www.allaccesskaraoke.com. Every week, for 10 consecutive weeks, the top two online performers, as voted upon by the online community, are flown to San Diego to showcase their Karaoke singing talent in front of a live audience.

“We’ve designed a television show on a subject that is highly popular around the country and event the world,” said the concept creator, Jeff Symon, president and CEO of The AIM Agency, “and we’re placing full control of what viewers see on TV in their own hands. Through these concepts alone, we generated interest from thousands of visitors online and we haven’t even aired a show yet.”

Thousands of contestants have recorded videos in ALL ACCESS KARAOKE’s virtual recording studio over the past month and the winners have been determined, notified and flown to San Diego to headline their concert. Last night, Robin, a daycare center teacher from Walla Walla Washington went head to head with graphic designer, Alan, from San Jose California trying to win over the viewing audience to advance to the finals. Their experience will be revealed in the first episode, which will air online and on San Diego 6 The CW on Oct. 5 and Oct. 4, respectively.

In the past month, ALL ACCESS KARAOKE has had more than 57,700 visits to their site and nearly one million page views. The interest for the site is nearly completely viral as the team has employed limited social media and advertising techniques to garner this response. Interested contestants have been submitting videos online, which are voted on by the Internet audience. The winners of the Internet competition are flown to San Diego each week to vie for a place in the finale show. Votes are submitted through text message and the winner is announced on the following week’s show.
