PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." - Eleanor Roosevelt
WHERE ARE YOU FROM: Sacramento, CA
MUST-HAVE ITEM: My Weimaraner, Sir Weylin Von Barrington. Girl’s best friend.
INSPIRATIONAL GO-TO: Anywhere I can strap on my shoes and run! Whether on a beach or a treadmill, running is my form of meditation and I bring along a notepad for all the problem solving I do along the way. I'm so blessed to live by the beach and no matter how tough a day might be, a quick run in the sand always seems to be the perfect reminder of perspective.
HOW DO YOU GIVE BACK: In every way, every day I can. I was blessed with certain talents and I believe it’s my duty to use those talents to help other people – whether it’s an entrepreneur whose business I am helping to grow or a philanthropic cause we are working with. Through our work, we represent a lot of charitable causes and social enterprises, as well as volunteering together frequently as a team. In my personal life, I get involved everywhere I can – from small acts like donating things I no longer need or being extra conscious of my personal carbon footprint to larger commitments like fundraising for half marathons and serving on UNICEF's NextGen Committee.

WHERE ARE YOU FROM: Encinitas, CA
MUST-HAVE ITEM: A good moleskin notebook.
INSPIRATIONAL GO-TO: A run on the beach. I find that getting out into the open air with movement and vigor always leads me to discover something new, not to mention helps me to pause and appreciate the beauty of my surroundings.
HOW DO YOU GIVE BACK: Since I was blessed with access to great food both in my childhood and career, I’ve developed a huge appreciation for the value of a good meal. I like to give back by sharing that, whether it means volunteering an afternoon at a soup kitchen or the food bank or cooking dinner for the people I love. What nourishes the body nourishes the soul, and by sharing a meal or making it more possible for someone to do the same, I feel like I’m cultivating and sustaining the well-being of others.

INSPIRATIONAL GO-TO: Yoga. When I'm at yoga, I'm able to live in the moment (for once!) and quiet my mind. It's in those quiet crevices the mind where you discover the biggest breakthroughs in your life.
HOW DO YOU GIVE BACK: I am passionate about women's issues. In San Diego, I hope to volunteer for an organization that advocates for women or that fights human trafficking. Otherwise, I think it's important to simply be kind to others every day.
